The Summary of Our Manifesto

The purpose of this organization includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Connecting survivors escaping domestic abuse with agencies who can help with their specific situation rather than a general list.
  2. Connecting survivors escaping domestic abuse with private citizens, businesses or institutions wanting to help with individual situations where their help can make a difference.
  3. Providing techniques, resources, and planning to escape safely and minimizing loss of assets, income, certifications, personal belongings and other means of support.
  4. Educate survivors, the public, agencies of help, municipalities and legal officials about coercive abuse and about gaps in current support, the added costs that puts on the justice system, welfare system, law force, education system and survivors themselves. Educate them on the added toll on mental and physical health long term and the increased risk of loss of life or failure to escape abuse inherent in these failures to facilitate survivors and to enforce existing laws or court orders.
  5. Explore the means to ethically provide consistent rights, enforcement as well as support regardless of location of involved parties and the effectiveness of such consistency in improving outcomes.
